Scituate Boat Works
Scituate Boat Works is a large-scale marine operation in Scituate Harbor, backed by the service, values, and personal touch of a family-owned business. For over 10 years, we've provided boat repair, maintenance, and winter storage for recreational and commercial boats from 15 to 70 feet across Scituate and the South Shore of Massachusetts. As an authorized Bluewater boat dealer and Suzuki, Yamaha, and Mercury dealer, our factory-trained technicians handle outboard service, engine repowers, marine electronics, Seakeeper installs, bottom painting, detailing, and shrink wrap. With our 35-ton Marine Travelift, we haul out and launch boats right on the harbor. From storage to the dock, your boat is ready when you are.
Customer's reviews
5/5 stars – each star for customer care, product quality, atmosphere, speed, and value. I took my boat to Scituate Boat Works and was impressed by how friendly and knowledgeable the staff were. They fixed the outboard motor quickly, gave me a fair and competitive price, and made the whole process convenient and reliable. I highly recommend them for any boat repair or marine service needs near me.

Scituate Boat Works provided me prompt and outstanding service twice this season—once at my slip, replacing a faulty bilge pump, and once at their facility, where they hauled the boat and performed maintenance on the lower unit of my outboard. In both cases, work was coordinated by Javier Medina, who kept me apprised of work with regular updates. In both cases work was done in 1-2 d, which is unheard of during boating season. Competitive costing as well. I’d highly recommend SBW for any marine service needs.

Scituate Boatworks is unmatched when it comes to responsiveness and quality of work. Even when there were there were last minute issues, Nick and his team stepped up immediately and made sure everything was handled so I could get back out on successful trips the very next day. That level of care and follow-through is hard to find, and it really sets them apart.
